The National Register

Client Profile:

As the apparel industry's most comprehensive provider of information, The National Register's website needed to accomplish three main objectives: to communicate the value of information they provide, and to provide an ecommerce feature that makes it easy to purchase the directories, and position themselves in search engines using their comprehensive directory of apparel industry specific information. These objectives also had to be met with the consideration that their customer base is worldwide.

What We Did:

To do that, we focused on making the home page the clear starting point for moving users through the site: identifying the uses for the directories, presenting the available formats of the information, and offering convenient purchase and delivery options. From the home page, site visitors can find more information about the directories and purchase the directory or directories that best fit their needs.

In addition, the text links at the top of the home page provide options for navigating the rest of the site's content, contacting the publisher and viewing the shopping cart. These links are viewable from every page on the site, making it easy for site visitors to navigate. Other features include previews of the directories' content and a guest book for collecting leads.

This functionality, combined with the clean layout, make The National Register's website a marketing and sales tool that compliments and is consistent with their products.
